Applications are invited for the position of Honorary Fellow (5) Five Fellowships at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata. Fellowships are for the Eminent Scholars in recognition to their distinguish work and Knowledge on the Subjects which may develop the aims and activities of the Institute or on persons who have rendered eminent service to the Institute or on persons who have made noteworthy and lasting contributions to the cause of fundamental research. The age factor should not, therefore, be the decisive factor while inviting the outstanding persons to serve as the honorary Fellows in the Institute.

3. The Honorary Fellows shall be appointed for a period of two (2) years and they shall not be paid any stipend by the Institute. They will, however, enjoy the following facilities/privileges in connection with the academic and research work assign to them.

a) Library Facilities

b) Facilities for Preparation of Report and duplication of papers.

c) Computer Facilities for data processing.

d) Any other facilities / privileges as may be considered necessary by the Director to carry out the academic and research work assign to them with the approval of the Executive Council.

e) They may be paid honorarium as TA/DA.
