Applications are invited for the position of Visiting Fellow (6) Six Fellowships at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata. Fellowships are for the persons with outstanding record of work as academicians, Policy makers or administrators or the fellows of the Institute keeping abreast of the latest development and advances in different disciplines and to work at the rapidly advancing tronticrs of knowledge, which would go a long way to strengthen the research base ot the Institute and also help to foster its development to become a premier research Institution In the country.

1. Name of the Post: Visiting Fellow

2. No of Post: 06

3. Salary: The Visiting Fellowship provides a consolidated stipend of Rs. 40000/- (Forty Thousand Rupees only) per month.

4. The duration of the Visiting Fellowship is for one (1) year from the date of commencement of the Fellowship which will start from when the Fellow submits a joining report to the Director MAKAIAS, Kolkata.

5. The visiting Fellows will be nominated to initiate Research Projects, help the Institute an the ongoing projects, deliver lectures in their field of specialization, contribute to the Seminars/ Workshops and facilitate in enriching the Library/ Museum etc.

Pay Scale: INR 40000(Per Month)
