The Office of the Inspector General of Police, CID Meghalaya is looking for young, dynamic, talented and innovative professionals to join the team as I.T Consultants. This is a contract-based opportunity to run critical IT projects. Vacancy Details

Eligibility for I.T Consultant

• Essential Qualification: M.C.A or B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc in Information Technology or Computer Science or Electronics and Communications from a recognized university established by law in India or an equivalent qualification. OR M.B.A (IT) from a University established by law in India or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Preference will be given to those having 1 (one) year post-qualification, relevant work experience in Government Organizations/Undertakings/Public Limited/Private Limited companies.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years; Maximum not exceeding 37 years (as on 1st January 2026).
• Domicile: Candidate must be a resident of Meghalaya.

Scope of Work

• Daily maintenance of database and the CAS (Core Application Software) at both client and Server sites (training provided).
• Issues pertaining to the application.
• Configuration, Integration, and other technical requirements.
• Networking.
