Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification & Experience
- Coal Superintendent (05 Posts):
- Qualification: Bachelorโs Degree in Mining Engineering + First Class Colliery Managerโs Certificate of Competency under Mines Act, 1952.
- Experience: 5 years experience (min 3 years in Coal Industry after obtaining certificate).
- Secretary to Coal Controller (01 Post):
- Qualification: Degree in Law/Commerce/Management or equivalent.
- Experience: 5 years experience in Admin, Accounts, Budget, RTI, or Legal matters.
- Assistant Coal Superintendent (07 Posts):
- Qualification: Bachelorโs Degree in Mining Engineering + Managerial Certificate of Competency (First Class or Second Class).
- Experience: 5 years experience in Coal Industry.
- Senior Geologist (01 Post):
- Qualification: Masterโs Degree in Geology or Applied Geology.
- Experience: 5 years experience in Geological investigation/coal exploration.
- IT Officer (01 Post):
- Qualification: Degree in Computer Science/IT + 3 years experience OR Post Graduate in Computer Application/IT.
- Experience: Experience in Website maintenance, e-governance, or ERP systems.
- Legal Officer (01 Post):
- Qualification: Degree in Law.
- Experience: 3 years experience in handling court cases/legal matters.
- Survey Officer (02 Posts) & Senior Mines Surveyor (06 Posts):
- Qualification: Diploma in Mining Engineering or Diploma in Mine Surveying.
- Experience: 5 years experience in Mine Surveying.
2. Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 56 years as of the closing date for receipt of applications.
- Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Govt of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates (though standard deputation rules apply).
3. Mandatory Requirements
- Officers must be holding an analogous post on a regular basis OR have 5 years of regular service in Level-11 (for Level-12 posts).
- Must possess cadre clearance and vigilance clearance.
- Deputation period ordinarily not exceeding 4 years.
Selection Process
This recruitment is NOT based on a written competitive exam. The selection is based on the following:
- Deputation Basis: Selection of officers from Central/State Govts, PSUs, etc.
- Screening Committee: Applications will be scrutinized by a committee to assess suitability.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview (if required).
- Final Merit: Based on the experience and suitability of the candidate.
