Recruitment Overview

The Department of Applied Mechanics at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad, has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate-I. This recruitment is for a prestigious research project entitled "Design and Development of Biomechanical Therapeutics to Mitigate Osteoporosis in Postmenopausal Women with Diabetes Mellitus", funded by the Ministry of Education-STARS Scheme.

This is a Direct Recruitment based on an Interview. The position is purely temporary and offered on a contract basis for an initial period of one year. Interested Indian nationals with a strong academic background in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)

1. Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification:
  
  • B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering or related branches.
  • AND M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, CAD, or any other relevant area.




• Desirable Qualification:
  
  • GATE Qualified candidates are preferred for the JRF position.
  • Working knowledge and experience in CAD, Finite Element Modeling, Computational Biomechanics, and Fluid Dynamics.

2. Age Limit

As per the funding agency rules. However, since this is a contract-based research position, there are no strict upper/lower age limits mentioned in the notification, but candidates must be suitable for the research work.
