Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, Diploma
The Applications are invited for filling the following posts on permanent basis.
1. Name of the Post: Section Engineer
2. No of Post: 38
3. Pay Scale: 7th PC Pay Scale- S-15, Rs.41800-132300/-.
4. Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Applied Electronics / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Communication / Industrial Electronics / Power Electronics / Instrumentation / Instrumentation and Control/ Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering or any other relevant engineering degree from a Government recognized University / Institute.
5. Minimum Experience: 2 Years for Degree and 4 Years for Diploma in testing & commissioning and/or maintenance of propulsion system preferably Hitachi make provided in Metro Train sets. The certificate of working should clearly indicate the nature of experience covering Testing & Commissioning / Maintenance.

Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) is a government-owned company responsible for the development and operation of the metro rail system in Mumbai, India. Established in 2008, MMRCL is a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra.
The primary objective of MMRCL is to provide a reliable, efficient, and sustainable mode of public transportation in Mumbai. The corporation aims to alleviate the increasing traffic congestion and provide a comfortable and convenient travel option for the residents of Mumbai.
MMRCL is responsible for the planning, designing, implementing, and operating the metro rail network in Mumbai. The corporation undertakes the construction of metro lines, stations, and associated infrastructure, as well as the procurement of rolling stock and other necessary equipment.
Mumbai Metro, operated by MMRCL, currently has several operational lines, including Line 1 (Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar) and Line 7 (Dahisar East-Andheri East). These lines have significantly improved connectivity and reduced travel time for thousands of commuters in Mumbai.
