Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Executive Engineer (Civil)

  • Essential Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Diploma in Civil Engineering essential in specified promotion/feeder cases as per Recruitment Rules.
  • Experience: Applications are invited from Officers of all Major Port Authorities holding analogous posts or officers in feeder posts with required qualifying service and experience in a Major Port Trust as specified in the MbPT Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2010. Promotion channel requires 5 years regular service in the grade of Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) with Degree/Diploma.
  • Experience Requirement: Industrial/commercial/Govt. undertakings experience in planning/construction/design/maintenance, especially of Port and Marine structures, is required as per detailed Recruitment Rules.
