The Nagaland Police Headquarters is located at P.R. Hills, Kohima. The department is headed by Director General of Police . He is assisted by several other senior officers in the rank of ADGPs, IGPs, DIGs, AIGs and SPs. There are also Police Engineering Project wing called as police engineering project (PEP) headed by a Chief Engineering of Police Headquarters and assisted wing for all construction work in the police department either financed by State Government or the Central Government under modernization scheme and branch etc, with staffs headed by Office Superintendents, Senior Accounts Officer and Junior Accounts Officer are posted by the State Government .
