The Regional Institute of e-Learning & IT (RIELIT) has been recently setup as part of the Prime Minister's award to the people of Nagaland during his visit during October 2003.The Institute at Kohima will have the prime objective of creating skilled manpower in the area of Computer Science and Information Technology and related disciplines. The Institute will offer training programme to improve employment opportunities and facilitate availability of quality IT manpower, which will lead to growth of IT industry in the region.
