National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL) is an autonomous organization under Department of Space, Government of India. It is located at Gadanki, a place close to Tirupati. It is a premier institute engaged in carrying out frontline research in atmospheric and space sciences through observations, modelling and technology development.
1. Name of the Position Light Vehicle Driver (L V D) – A
2. L– 2 (Rs.19,900 – 63,200/-) Rs.19,900/- per month + Admissible Allowance(s).

4. Educational Qualifications Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
5. Experience:
a. 3 years experience as Light Vehicle Driver. Must possess valid LVD licence. Total prescribed experience should be after obtaining valid Driving Licence. Experience Certificate should only be from Government/SemiGovernment agencies/Registered Companies/ Societies/ Trusts, etc Experience Certificate from individuals will not be accepted.
b. Part time experience will not be considered for calculation of number of years of experience. Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act of the concerned State in which the candidate is posted should be met within 3 months after the candidate joins the post.It is mandatory that the candidate should possess the requisite qualification and experience as on the last date of the application.

(a) The candidate should have passed SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std. for submission of application online. Please note that the qualification prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for Written Test.
(b) Written Test will be conducted either in Tirupati or in NARL, Gadanki.
(c) Based on the performance in the Written Test, candidates will be short-listed for Skill Test. Those who qualify in the Skill Test will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in Skill Test shall not be considered for selection. The Skill Test shall be evaluated on a 100 points scale with minimum 60% for qualification.
(d) The final selection will be done, amongst qualified candidates, purely based on the score obtained in the Written Test. From amongst candidates who qualify in the Skill Test with minimum 60% marks, empanelment shall be done in the order of marks obtained in the Written Test. In case of a tie in written scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification shall be the tie breaker.
(e) Written Test shall be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum.
(a) The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the NARL web-site @ www.narl.gov.in during the period from 08.01.2022 to 07.02.2022.
(b) Candidates may visit NARL website to register their applications on-line between 08.01.2022 to 07.02.2022. Applications will be received on-line only.
(c) Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
(d) E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be provided in the application CORRECTLY and compulsorily.
(e) For those already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies, the on-line application has to be invariably followed-up with a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, duly indicating the name and Reg. NARL is an autonomous research laboratory fully funded by the Department of Space, Government of India and involved in carrying out fundamental and applied research in Atmospheric and Space Sciences. It had its humble beginning in 1992 as the National Mesosphere-Stratosphere-Troposphere(MST) Radar Facility. Over the years several complementary techniques such as Rayleigh/Mie lidars, wind profilers have been added. NARL is administered by a Governing Council with Secretary, DOS as the Chairman and Director, NARL as member secretary. The Governing Council sets broad policy guidelines for NARL. A Scientific Advisory Committee consisting of eminent scientists in the field of atmospheric science, monitors the research activities and progress of NARL and provides future directions.
