Skills / Eligibility
We are looking for a self-driven and motivated candidate with interest in host-pathogen interaction studies. The primary responsibility of the job is to design and perform laboratory experiments with rigour and thorough documentation to complete an ongoing project on protein-protein interaction. The tasks include but not limited to generating new constructs, purifying proteins and performing interaction studies using a variety of techniques. 1. Post Name: Project Associate I and II 2. Number of position: 1 3. Essential: Master’s degree in Biological Sciences with 60% of marks, or B. Tech degree in biosciences 1-2 year(s) experience in Molecular biology, recombinant protein expression and purification and protein interaction studies Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Good organizational and documentation skills Knowledge in the use of personal computers and their applications 4. Desirable: Have fellowship such as UGC/CSIR NET Good knowledge of protein structures and simulation 5. Duration: 12 months, extendible 6. Salary: Remuneration will be equivalent to Project Associate I or II as per DST/DBT norms, depending on experience and qualification
