Eligibility for Faculty Position

• Essential: Ph.D. in physics, astronomy or a related subject.
• Experience: Entry-level candidates should have completed a few years of post-doctoral research. Candidates with appropriate experience can be considered for higher levels.
• Desirable: Research focus in radio astronomy; potential synergies with NCRA research activities.

Terms of Appointment & Benefits

• Responsibilities: Faculty members are expected to spend about half of their time on support activities, including teaching of graduate courses, overseeing common facilities, GMRT operations, instrumentation development, and user support.
