National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Invites Application for Guest Teachers Recruitment 2022

Expression of Interest as Guest Teacher for instruction at SoSEs, under Government of NCT of Delhi under project for short duration

1. Post Name: Guest Teacher

2. Designation: Guest Resource Person for teaching in Schools of Specialized Education under Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi under NIFT project.

3. Duration of engagement: not more than 1 month

4. Experience: 

a. The candidate should have experience in the field of fashion & textiles. He/she should have understanding of fashion, fabrics, and knowledge of the local and global market. The candidates should be able to do live demonstrations in class for curriculum transaction.

b. Undergraduate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience (industry/research/teaching) postprofessional qualification from a reputed Indian/International institute.

c. Postgraduate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience (industry/research/teaching) postprofessional qualification from a reputed Indian/International institute.

5. Knowledge Domain: Overview of fashion - Fashion vocabulary Understanding of textile and apparel industry Fabric studies Yarn and fabric manipulation

6. Qualifications: Undergraduate/ Postgraduate in Fashion/Apparel Design/Textile Design/Textiles & Clothing or related disciplines from a reputed Indian/International institute. Good articulation and communication skills

7. Kindly note this is a short-term engagement and the remunerations will be as per the project allocation, on satisfactory completion and submission of the work entrusted.
