Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.Phil/Ph.D
Application are invited from the eligible candidates, for filling up the post of “Scientist & Consultant” on contract basis for the BARC funded project entitled "Establishing a networked, robot assisted neurosurgical laboratory to conduct rehearsals and trial runs for qualification of the neurosurgical suite developed by BARC for patient use - phase-1" under Dr.Dwarakanath Srinivas, Professor and Head Department of Neurosurgery, NIMHANS, Bengaluru.
1. Position: Scientist and Consultant
2. Number of Posts: 01(one)
3. Essential Qualification for Eligibility: Professional Course (BE/B-Tech) and PhD in Engineering
4. Desirable Qualifications:
a. The candidate should possess more than 15 years of research experience in the area of robotics and its application in the medical field.
b. The candidate should have a track record of high impact international publications and should have demonstrated both theoretical and experimental research activities
c. The candidate should have a knowledge of Kinematic Design and Mechanical Design of robots. In addition, the candidate should possess Programming skills in C/C++, Matlab/Mathematica.
d. Proficient oral and written English skills
5. Work location: National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences
6. Duration of Project: 31.12.2022 Initial appointment will be made for a period of 6 Months, which will be extendable based on the satisfactory performance of the candidate and availability of the fund
7. Salary: 75,000per month (consolidated)

Pay Scale: INR 75000(Per Month)
