Applications are invited from the eligible candidates, for filling up the following Posts on contract basis in the Ministry of Women & Child Development funded project titled “National Initiative & Integrated Resource for Child Protection, Mental Health, and Psychosocial Care”, under Dr. John Vijay Sagar, Professor & Head, Dept. of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Principal Investigator.

3. Essential Qualifications:
a. B.E. / B. Tech in IT, CSE, ECE/MCA in IT/ computer science from any recognized University/ Institution
b. 2 year experience in relevant field
4. Desired knowledge/skills: Having work experience in any govt./autonomous/ private/ university/teaching Centre. Experience in relevant field, such as in enabling Telemedicine and Virtual Knowledge Network Facilities.
5. Emoluments / Salary Rs. 65,000/- per month (Consolidated)
6. Job Profile Multimedia content development, Software maintenance, Computer installation and maintenance, System Security and Network security.
7. Duration of the Post 6 Months: (Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months and extendable based on the performance of the candidate)

Selection Procedure
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted. Skill Test/Interview will be conducted and the details will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates.

e. The candidate would need to make his/her own arrangements for quarantine period and as well as during the service at project employment.
f. If a candidate is selected, may be required to join duty within a week (from the date of offer issued).

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) is an Institute of National Importance governed by the act of Parliament titled NIMHANS Act, 2012. This institute is multidisciplinary institute for patient care, academic pursuit and cutting edge research in the field of mental health and neurosciences. The Central Government recognized its eminent academic position, growth and contributions, and declared it a ‘Deemed University’ in 1994. In 2012, NIMHANS was conferred the status of an ‘Institute of National Importance’
National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) is located in Bangalore. NIMHANS is a mental hospital which carries research in psychiatry, neuroscience and psychology.
National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences was established on 27th december 1974.
