NIT Jalandhar Invites Application for Research Fellow Recruitment 2022

National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, - Punjab

Applications are invited under the sponsored project. The details of the project are as under:

1. Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

2. Number of Position (s): One (01)

3. Title of The Project: Design and Development of Biologically Inspired Retinal Prosthesis Based Biomedical Implant to Restore Vision to the Blind

4. Tenure of Project: The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project which issanctioned up to 15 March 2025 or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

5. Essential Qualification: The applicant should have M.E./M.Tech Degree in RF/Microwave Engineering/Electronics Engineering with minimum of first class from a reputed institute (preference should be given to the GATE/NET qualified candidates) or candidate having PhD degree/thesis submitted in relevant field. In case class is not specified in degree then minimum 60% marks or 7.0 CGPA will be considered as 1st class.

6. Desirable Qualification: Working knowledge of Design and Analysis of Microwave Antennas, ANSYS HFSS, CST and MATLAB will be an added advantage.

7. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- (Permonth for first two years), Rs. 35,000/- (Permonth for third year) plus HRA as per norms.

Selection Procedure

Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email on the date of interview. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on their merit and as per the requirement of the project. All candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay, if required. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
