Educational Qualification & Experience:The candidate must be a Senior Professor at NIT Patna with a minimum of 5 years of experience as Professor, at least 2 years as HoD/Dean, and a proven track record in academics, administration, and research guidance at the Ph.D. level.
Skills:Academic administration, research guidance, leadership, strategic planning, liaison with higher education institutions and industry, and strong communication skills.
Age Limit:Not exceeding 60 years of age at the time of applying.
Salary (per month):
As per NIT Acts / NIT Statutes and the terms of the Contract of Service. The remuneration will be as per the applicable rules for a Deputy Director at an NIT.
Selection Procedure:

- Interview/Recommendation by Selection Committee as per Statute 23 (5) (a) of the NITs Statutes.
