National Insurance Academy (NIA) Invites Application for Research Assistant Recruitment 2022

National Insurance Academy (NIA), Pune is hiring a Research Assistant on contractual basis for a research project related to value creation, stakeholder primacy, ESG, and corporate governance.

1. Name of the Post: Research Assistant

2. Skills and Qualifications: Master’s Degree preferably in Statistics/Management/Commerce/ Economics/ Law. Should have research aptitude. Proficiency in using data analysis software like SPSS, R, Excel. Fluency in oral and written English. Candidates having research interest and experience in the areas of Corporate Governance, ESG, and Board Relationships will be preferred

3. Roles and Responsibilities: The selected candidate shall have the responsibilities including, but not limited to, assisting in primary and secondary research, literature review, data analysis, drafting and editing of reports and other administrative activities.

4. Tenure: six months (extendable up to nine months)

5. Stipend: Rs.35,000/- per month

Selection Procedure

1. Only the shortlisted applicants will be called for interview. No further correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The Academy reserves the right to cancel the selection process without assigning any reason.

2. The selection will be strictly on the basis of merit and suitability for the post.

3. The Screening Committee constituted for the purpose shall assess all applications, which meet the eligibility criteria and select after interviewing the shortlisted candidates.
