Eligibility Criteria for NIA SP Deputation

Officers from the following services are eligible to apply for this Government Job 2026:

• Indian Police Service (IPS)
• All India Services (IAS, IFS)
• Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF)
• Central Police Organizations (CBI, IB, etc.)
• Group 'A' Central Government Services (IRS, IA&AS, Enforcement Directorate, etc.)

Essential Qualifications:

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre; OR
2. 5 years regular service in posts in Level-11 in the Pay Matrix.
3. Experience: 7 years in handling criminal investigations, economic offences, intelligence, or counter-terrorism operations.

Age Limit:

Maximum age limit is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Salary & Allowances

Selected officers will draw pay and allowances as per the following:

• Pay Matrix: Level-12 (Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200)
• Special Security Allowance: 20% of basic pay.
• Other Allowances: DA, HRA, TPT, and other admissible allowances as per Central Government orders.
