Educational Qualification
- Essential: B.E./B.Tech (Civil) or its equivalent (Full Time) from a recognized university/institution.
- Desirable: P.G. Degree/Diploma in Construction Management or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in relevant areas such as construction of viaducts, elevated stations, underground tunnels, depot works, FIDIC contracts, quality assurance, etc.
Age Limit
Maximum 40 years (as on 12/08/2026). Age relaxation applicable as per government norms: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC-NCL – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, Ex-Servicemen – 5 years.
Pay Scale/CTC Requirements (for deputation/absorption candidates)
- CDA Scale: Level 9/10 or equivalent with last 3 years in Level 8.
- IDA Scale: E2 or above with last 3 years in E1.
- Private Sector: Minimum CTC of Rs. 11.10 lakhs per annum (verified by Form 16, ITR, salary slips).
NCRTC Selection Process 2026
The selection will consist of:
- Written Test/CBT (80% Weightage)
- Interview (20% Weightage)
Candidates must secure minimum 60% marks overall to be considered. Shortlisting for interview will be in the ratio of 1:5 based on CBT scores. No TA/DA for exam.
