Number of Vacancy: 64 Posts
Educational Qualification:
i. Postgraduate degree or diploma in respective subject recognized by MCI after obtaining a medical qualification included in the Schedule-I & II of the 3rd Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act).
ii. Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship/housemanship in a recognized hospital.
iii. Candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India.
Pay Scale:
INR
67700/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 45 Years.

iii. Certificate of SC/ST/Latest OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate from the competent authority if applicable.

vi. MBBS Attempt certificate
vii. MBBS Internship Completion Certificate
viii. MCI/NMC Eligibility certificate for candidate(s) passing from foreign medical Institutions.
ix. Result of screening test for Indian nationals with Foreign Medical Qualification issued by the National Board of Examinations.
x. MD/MS/DNB/Diploma passed certificate
xi. Medical Registration Certificate for MBBS/MD/MS/DNB/Diploma
xii. NOC from the present employer (if employed)
xiii. Experience Certificate (if applicable)
xiv. Residence Certificate issued by competent authority or Aadhar card or voter ID and Passport

The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute Of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) stands as a premier super-specialty teaching and referral institute equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Established in 1987 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, it holds the distinction of being the first central government health institution in the North East. As an autonomous body registered under the Meghalaya Societies Act 1983, NEIGRIHMS plays a pivotal role in medical advancement and public welfare.
Institute of National Importance & Excellence
Recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Hon'ble Prime Minister in 2000, NEIGRIHMS is also a unique 'Centre of Excellence' for medical education and human health resource development, a status conferred by Parliament in 2007. Located on a sprawling 273-acre lush green campus in Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, the institute operates a tertiary care hospital and offers graduate, postgraduate, and post-doctoral courses affiliated with the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU). It houses a Medical College and a Nursing College recognized by the Medical Council of India and Indian Nursing Council, awaiting full Deemed University status.
