Eligibility Criteria & Experience Requirements

Candidates must be working in Indian Railways/Metro/RRTS departments. The experience criteria are reckoned as on 31st May 2026.

1. Deputy Engineer (Civil/Track) / Deputy Chief Facility Controller

• For IDA Pay Scale Employees (Metro/RRTS):
  • Min 05 Years Supervisory experience in Maintenance of Civil structures/Track.
  • Pay Scale: Bottom pay of Rs. 46,000 OR 2 Years in Rs. 40,000+ OR 5 Years in Rs. 37,000+.
• For CDA Pay Scale Employees (Railways/Govt Dept):
  • Min 05 Years Supervisory experience in Maintenance of Civil structures/Track.
  • Pay Scale: PB-2 + GP 4200 (Level 6 of 7th CPC).
  • Min 4 years of Group C Service.

2. Deputy Engineer (Electrical) / Deputy Chief Controller (Electrical)

• Experience: Min 05 Years Supervisory work experience in Maintenance of Electrical Power Distribution, Traction Systems, E&M systems.
• Pay Scale Criteria: Same as above (IDA: Rs. 46k/40k/37k bottom pay; CDA: PB-2 + GP 4200).

3. Deputy Engineer (Signalling & Telecom) / Deputy Chief Controller (S&T)

• Experience: Min 05 Years Supervisory work experience in Maintenance of Railway Signalling systems (EI, ATP/ATO) & Telecom (Radio, PA, CCTV).
• Pay Scale Criteria: Same eligibility criteria regarding pay scales as mentioned above.

4. Deputy Chief Controller (Rolling Stock)

• Experience: Min 05 Years Supervisory experience in Maintenance of Rolling Stock in Govt Metro/RRTS/Railway.
• Pay Scale Criteria: IDA or CDA criteria as specified.

5. Deputy Chief Controller (Operations)

• Experience: Min 05 Years Supervisory experience in Operation (OCC/Station/Train) with min 2 years as Traffic Controller in modern OCC.
