Educational Qualification

• Professor/Associate Professor: Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda recognized under IMCC Act, 1970/NCISM Act, 2020. Specific experience in teaching/research required.
• Medical Officers (Pathologist, Pediatrician, etc.): MBBS with Post Graduate Degree in concerned subject and registered with MCI/NMC. 3 years experience post-PG.
• Research Posts (Pharmacognosist, Ethnobotanist): PG Degree in Botany/Pharmacology/Pharmacognosy with research experience.
• Senior Assistant: Bachelor’s degree + Typing speed (35 wpm Eng / 30 wpm Hin) + MS-Office proficiency.
• Panchakarma Assistant: 10+2 with 1-year certificate course in Panchakarma.

Age Limit

• Maximum age varies by post: 35 Years to 56 Years.
• Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Govt. of India rules.

Pay Scale & Allowances

Candidates selected through NEIAFMR Recruitment 2026 will be paid as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC):

• Professor: Level-13 (Rs. 1,23,100 - Rs. 2,15,900) + NPA
• Associate Professor: Level-11 (Rs. 67,700 - Rs. 2,08,700) + NPA
• Assistant Professor/Medical Officer: Level-10 (Rs. 56,100 - Rs. 1,77,500) + NPA
• Senior Assistant/Panchakarma Assistant: Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100)

Allowances include DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, and NPA (for medical posts) as admissible to Central Government employees.
