Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
CA/CMA Intern (Finance & Accounts) – All 51 Posts
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed Inter CA or Inter CMA examination. Final/aggregate marks are mandatory because shortlisting is based on aggregate marks.
- Mark Accuracy: Enter exact percentage in the online form without rounding off (e.g., 49.99% must not be written as 50%).
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 56 years as on 26 October 2026. Date of birth must fall between 26 October 1970 and 27 October 2008.
- Category Certificates:
- SC / ST / OBC (NCL) certificates must be in Government of India format.
- OBC (NCL) certificates must be dated on or after 1 April 2026 and caste must be listed in the Central OBC list.
- EWS candidates need Income & Asset Certificate valid for 2026–27.
- PwBD candidates need disability certificate as per RPwD Rules, 2017.
- Category selected in the online form cannot be changed later.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
There is no written examination for the NPCIL CA/CMA Intern recruitment. Selection is a two-stage process:
- Stage 1 – Shortlisting (1:5 Ratio): Candidates are shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio based on their aggregate marks in Inter CA / Inter CMA. Shortlisted candidates are informed via email.
- Stage 2 – Virtual Personal Interview: A virtual interview is conducted by the chosen unit/region. E-call letter with time and interview link is downloadable from the Applicant's Login portal.
- Stage 3 – Certificate Verification & Medical Examination: Conducted after the interview, followed by police verification before joining.
Tie-Breaking Rule: Higher marks in Inter CA/CMA rank higher. If marks are equal, the older candidate is preferred. If all criteria are equal, alphabetical order of name is followed. A waitlist equal to the main list is maintained for one year from panel approval.
TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Dearness Allowance will be paid to candidates for attending the virtual interview.
Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates
- Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
- Inter CA / Inter CMA Passing Certificate and Consolidated Mark Sheet with final/aggregate marks.
- Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (OBC-NCL dated on or after 1 April 2026; EWS valid for 2026–27; PwBD as per RPwD Rules 2017).
- Online Application Form Printout with generated Application Number.
- Aadhaar Card / Government-issued Photo ID Proof.
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
- Photograph Upload Specs: JPEG format, 10 KB–50 KB, dimensions 180×240 to 480×640 pixels.
- Signature Upload Specs: JPEG format, up to 20 KB, dimensions 80×100 to 160×560 pixels.

Internship Terms & Benefits
- Duration: 12 months, extendable by up to 12 additional months based on performance and institute rules. Completion certificate issued at the end.
- Working Hours: 8 hours per day (including 1-hour lunch), 5 days per week, general shift.
- Leave: 1 day of paid leave per month (12 days per year). Additional absence leads to stipend deduction.
- Accommodation: Single room at units available on payment of normal licence fee, or Rs 5,000 per month if not provided.
- Transport & Medical: Free site transport (subject to availability) and free OPD and first aid.
- Injury Compensation: As per the Employees' Compensation Act, 1923.
- No Employment Guarantee: NPCIL is not bound to offer employment to interns after completion of the internship.
