Educational Qualification: M.E/M.Tech, MS
Applications are invited along with bio-data and attested copies of the certificates of qualification, and experience, for position of Junior Research Fellow at University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University, Chandigarh under the project entitled ‘Multi-Modal Framework for Monitoring Active Fire Locations (AFL) & Precision in Allied Agricultural Activities using Communication Technologies’ sanctioned by Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology of Government of India.
The position of Junior Research Fellow is for a period of 12 months OR coterminous with project, or extendable if the project is extended and depending upon the satisfactory performance of the candidate.

2. Essential Qualifications: “First class throughout with M.E. / M.Tech / M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering / Software Engineering / Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering with GATE / UGC NET Qualified and B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering / Software Engineering / Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication Engineering”
3. Desirable: Knowledge of Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Cloud storage, Sensors and related technologies along with expertise in Python programming. Preference will be given to candidate having domain knowledge of working on satellite data/Machine Learning.
4. Emoluments per month: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA
