Educational Qualification: M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech
Applications are invited for one post of Research associate (RA) in DBT, India sponsored research proposal entitled "Genome Editing Mediated Nutritional Improvement of Potato (Solanum uberosum L. to be executed in the Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh with following tems and conditions:
1. Position:Research Associate - 1
2. No of Posts - (One)
3. Duration: upto 31.03.2025
4. Emoluments: Rs 47,000 p.m plus HRA as per guidelines
5. Minimum Essential Qualifications: . M.Sc/ M. Tech degree in Biotechnology/Life science with at least 60% marks. Ph.D in Biotechnology.
6. Desirable: Candidate should have experience of working on plants and expertise in gene cloning, vector construction, transformation and gene expression as evidenced from published research papers in these areas

Selection Procedure
1. Candidates will be shortlisted as per academic qualifications and research experience strictly relevant to the project.

Interested candidates may send their applications along with complete biodata and attested copies of the necessary certificates indicating the date of birth, cducational certificates from 10 onwards and copies of publication to the undersigned by 04.05.2022 Candidates will be shortlisted as per academic qualifications and research experience strictly relevant to the project.
2. The interview will be held on 11.05.2022 at 11:00 am in the office of the Chaiperson, Department of Biotechnology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Report along with the original cducation and experience certificates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
