Educational Qualification: B.Sc, M.A, M.Sc
PNGRB invites fresh applications for engagement of Individual Engineering Consultant on contract basis. The details of level of the Individual Engineering Consultants, qualifications and experience required are as under:
1. Category of Individual Consultant: Individual Engineering Consultant
2. Qualification : Graduate Degree in Engineering/ Master’s degree in Science/ Economics/ Operations Research or equivalent from a recognized university or institution
3. Experience : Experience of more than 15 years in: (a) Experience of techno-economic project appraisal/evaluation/choice of project involving large investments in the field of oil and gas pipelines, storage capacities, marketing infrastructure/ city gas distribution etc.; or (b) Experience in development/ formulation of regulations or familiarity with latest technological developments in the oil and gas sector; or (c) Experience in setting up of city gas distribution network, its operation and maintenance; or (d) Experience in operation and maintenance of oil and gas pipelines; or (e) Experience in drafting of technical standards/safety codes pertaining to oil and gas pipelines and installations.
4. Desirable: Previous exposure to Competition Law
5. Lump sum monthly remuneration: For Individual Consultant under Level IV, Rs 1,10,000/- with 10 percent increase on successful completion of each year in PNGRB. No other allowance on account of conveyance, telephone, etc will be paid

Selection Procedure
PNGRB reserves the right to annul the process of selection/engagement of Individual Consultants against this public notice at any time without assigning any reason.

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) was established on 31st March 2006. PNGRB was formed to protect the interest of consumer and entities engaged in specified activities relating to petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas and to promote competitive market in the country.
PNGRB is mandated to regulate the refining processing, storage, transportation, distribution, marketing and sale of petroleum, petroleum by product and natural gas excluding production of crude oil and natural gases, so as to ensure adequate supply of petroleum products and natural gas in all part of the country.
PNGRB has vision to create a vibrant energy resource market with rapid and orderly growth through facilitation of flow of investment into the basic infrastructure for efficient transportation and distribution of petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas at minimum cost and high level protection to consumer interest through fair trade practices for enhancing the economy of country and customer satisfaction.
