Eligibility Criteria (In-Depth)

1. Educational Qualification

• Required: Graduate or Post Graduate in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of 20 years of post-qualification Executive experience in the power sector (Load Despatch Centre, Generation, Transmission, and Distribution of electricity).
• Preference: Experience with Central/State Government Power Utilities, Electricity Regulatory Commissions, or retired officials from Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies.

2. Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 63 years.
• Age As on: Age is calculated as of the closing date of application, i.e., 09.03.2026.
• Residual Service: Candidates must have two (2) years of residual service prior to attaining 65 years.

3. Mandatory Requirements

• The candidate should have working knowledge of English and Hindi language.
• The Consultant must have a phone/mobile and be able to work independently (no secretarial assistance provided).
• Candidates must be medically fit for office duties.

Selection Process

Since this is a direct recruitment for a specialized post, the selection process does not involve a written exam. The stages are:

1. Screening of Applications: Applications will be scrutinized by the Selection Committee.
2. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with the Selection Committee.
3. Medical Fitness: Engagement is subject to medical fitness certification from a registered medical practitioner.
