Educational Qualification:
Junior Technician (X-Ray): B.Sc. Medical Technology (X-ray) / B.Sc. Medical Technology Radiology / B.Sc. Medical Technology Radio-diagnosis / B.Sc. Medical Technology Radio Diagnosis & Imaging Technology.
Junior Technician (Radiotherapy): B.Sc. Medical Technology (Radiology / Radiotherapy).
Staff Car Driver:
1. Matriculation or its equivalent.
2. Possession of a valid Driving Licence for driving heavy vehicles.
3. Knowledge of motor mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
Junior Administrative Officer (Assistant): Degree of recognized University or equivalent. Proficiency in computers. Knowledge of govt. rules and regulations preferably in establishment matters. Upper Division Clerk with 03 years of service or Lower Division Clerk with 05 years’ service in the respective grades including a minimum of 02/03 years’ experience of pure administrative work in a Central Government/State Government/ State Government / Autonomous Body.
Technician (OT): B.Sc. Medical Technology (Operation Theatre/ Anaesthesia).

Age Limit: 18-30 Years.
Application Fee: Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Exempted from payment of fee. SC/ST category: Rs.800/- plus Transaction Charges as applicable. For all others including General/OBC/EWS: Rs.1500/- plus Transaction Charges as applicable.

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh was conceived in 1960 as a center of excellence which would endeavour to develop patterns of teaching in postgraduate medical education in as many branches as possible and attempt to produce specialists in several disciplines of medicine. It was also envisaged that these specialists would spread out in the country in various medical colleges and medical institutions and impart medical education of highest standard to the students and set up nucleus of excellence in their own institutions. The PGIMER was also given the responsibility to broaden the horizons of medical knowledge by intensive research in the field of health.
