1. Name of the Post: Staff Nurse (Male)
2. No. of Vacancies:- Presently, the no. of vacancies for the post of Staff Nurse (Male) is 558 in Medical Education and Training Deptt. U.P. and Medical and Health services Deptt, U.P. which may increase or decrease depending upon the circumstances / requirements.
3. Pay Scale:- Rs. 9300-34800, Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- (Revised Pay Scale Level-7 Pay Matrix Rs. 44900 - 142400/-).
4. Educational Qualification: A candidate for direct recruitment to the post of Staff Nurse (Male) Must-
(i) Have passed High School Examination with Science and passed Intermediate Examination of the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or an Examination recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.
(ii) Possess diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc Degree in Nursing registrable with the U.P. Nurses and Midwives Council or possess diploma in Psychiatry registrable with the U.P. Nurses and Midwives Council
(iii) Possess registration certificate from U.P. Nurses and Midwives Council as Nurse and Psychiatry or Possess registration certificate as Nurse and Midwives From the U.P. Nurses and Midwives Council.

Selection Procedure
Selection shall carry one hundred marks. The merit list of the candidates shall be prepared in the following manner :-
(a) Written Examination shall carry Eighty Five marks.
(b) Marks to a person who is working as Staff Nurse on contract basis in the Medical and Health Services Department, Uttar Pradesh and Medical Education and Training Department, Uttar Pradesh shall be awarded in the following manner subject to the maximum of fifteen marks :-
(i) For the first completed year of service on contract basis Three marks.
(ii) For the next and every completed year of service on contract basis Three marks for each year. In this regard the certificate issued by the Appointing Authority only shall be treated Valid. AProforma for this purpose is available in Appendix-6 of this advertisement.
(c) The marks obtained by each candidate under clause (a) shall, where applicable, be added to the marks obtained under clause (b).
How to Apply:
1. Date of Commencement of On-line Application: 21/01/2022
2. Last Date for Receipt of Examination Fee On-line in the Bank: 17/02/2022
3. Last Date for Submission of On-line Application: 21/02/2022
(a) On-Line Applications will be accepted only when prescribed fee is deposited in the Bank upto prescribed last date for fee deposit. If the fee is deposited in Bank after the last date prescribed for fee deposit, the on-line application of the candidate will not be accepted and the fee deposited in the Bank will not be refunded in any condition. It will be responsibility of the candidates to deposit fee in the Bank upto the last date prescribed for fee deposition and to 'submit' the application upto last date prescribed for submission of applications. It is also informed that any amount deposited in the form of examination fee shall not be refunded in any condition.
(b) In Online Application System, the candidates have to provide their Mobile No. and valid E-mail ID in prescribed column failing which their Basic Registration shall not be completed. All relevant informations / instructions shall be sent through SMS on that mobile and E-Mail on their vaild E-mail ID.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is a state-level government agency responsible for conducting civil services examinations and recruiting candidates for various administrative positions within the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
The commission was established on April 1, 1937, and is headquartered in the city of Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad). Its primary role is to conduct competitive exams for various positions such as Provincial Civil Services (PCS), Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services, Assistant Conservator of Forest, Range Forest Officer, etc.
The UPPSC also advises the state government on matters related to recruitment, promotion, and disciplinary actions of government employees. The commission is headed by a chairman and a team of members who are appointed by the governor of Uttar Pradesh.
