Recruitment Overview

The Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, has released an official notification (Advt. No. I/48/Rectt/2025-26) for the recruitment of Tutor posts under the College of Medical Technology & AHSc. This is a Special Recruitment Drive for Backlog Vacancies against reserved categories. Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.01.2026)

1. Educational Qualification

• For Tutor (Community Medicine):
  • First Class Master's Degree in Applied Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Allied Health Sciences with Community Medicine as a major subject.
  • OR M.D./M.S./MDS in concerned discipline.
• For Tutor (Physiotherapy):
  • First Class Master's Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • OR M.D./M.S./MDS in concerned discipline.
• Experience: Two years teaching/research experience in a reputed recognized medical teaching organization.
• Preference: Ph.D. with a good academic record will be preferred.

2. Age Limit & Relaxation

• Cutoff Date: July 01, 2025 (The decisive date for age calculation is 1st July 2025).
• Age Criteria: Candidate must have attained 18 years and not more than 50 years as on July 01, 2025.
• Relaxation:
  • Upper age limit relaxed as per reservation policy for SC/ST/OBC of UP.
  • Permanent Govt. Employees of UP Govt. (with 3+ years service): Relaxable up to 5 years.
  • Ex-Servicemen: Deduction of service period from actual age allowed.

Selection Process

Selection for the post of Tutor will be based on a Written Test. Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit in the written examination.

Note: The DD must be drawn in favor of "Director, SGPGIMS, Lucknow" payable at SBI (Branch Code: 7789). Fee is non-refundable.
