1. Name of the Post: Medical Officer, Community Health (Ayurvedic and Unani)
2. No of Post: 962
3. Pay scale: Rs. 15600-39100/-, Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- (Pay Matrix level-10).
4. Qualification:
(a) A degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib of a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.
(b) Registration as Vaidya or a Hakeem with the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh.
(c) At least Six month's professional experience in State Ayurvedic, Unani or Allopathic Hospital or dispensary.
5. Preferential:- Post graduate degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib from a recognized Institution. A candidate who has- (i) Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years. Or (ii) Obtained a 'B' certificate of National Cadet Corps, shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.

Age Limit: 21 to 40 years (Relaxation in age as per Rules).
Selection Procedure
1. Minimum educational qualification is not sufficient for being called for interview. Mere eligibility does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview or for selection. Intimation for interview will be sent later on.
2. "If at any stage, it comes to the knowledge of the commission that the candidate has concealed or misrepresented any information, his candidature shall be rejected and proceeding to debar him from future examinations and selections shall be initiated."
How to Apply:
1. Last Date For The Deposition Of Application Fee In The Bank : 20-12-2021
2. Last Date For Submission Of Online Applications : 23-12-2021
(a) "Applications will be accepted only when fee is deposited in the Bank upto prescribed last date for fee deposition. If the fee is deposited in bank after the last date prescribed for fee deposition, the on-line application of the candidate will not be accepted and the fee deposited in the bank will not be refunded in any condition. It will be responsibility of the candidates to deposit fee in the bank upto last date prescribed for fee deposition and 'submit' the application upto last date prescribed for submission of applications. It is also informed that less or more amount deposited in the form of examination fee shall not be refunded in any condition."
(b) In Online Application System, the candidates have to provide their Mobile No. in prescribed column failing which their Basic Registration shall not be completed. All relevant informations/ instructions shall be sent through sms on that mobile.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is a state-level government agency responsible for conducting civil services examinations and recruiting candidates for various administrative positions within the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
The commission was established on April 1, 1937, and is headquartered in the city of Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad). Its primary role is to conduct competitive exams for various positions such as Provincial Civil Services (PCS), Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services, Assistant Conservator of Forest, Range Forest Officer, etc.
The UPPSC also advises the state government on matters related to recruitment, promotion, and disciplinary actions of government employees. The commission is headed by a chairman and a team of members who are appointed by the governor of Uttar Pradesh.
