Suitable and interested candidates can appear for the interview in the Department of Life Sciences, Rama Devi Women’s University on 11.03.2022 at 11.00 A.M. for the following assignment in a purely time bound DST, Govt. of India funded research project.

1. Name of the Temporary Post: 

a) Junior Research Fellow (01)

b) Project Assistant (01)

2. Name of the Research Project: Development of rapid diagnostic kit for early detection of rhizome rot in turmeric and ginger

3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency: DST, Govt. of India New Delhi

4. Tenure of the Project: 03 Year

5. Fellowship: 

a) Junior Research Fellow 31,000 +18% HRA (for 1st & 2nd Year & 35,000 +18% HRA (for 3rd year)

b) Project Assistant Rs.22,000/ month Consolidated for 3 years

6. Essential Qualifications (Junior Research Fellow): Post Graduate degree in Basic Science or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:

a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

7. Essential Qualifications (Project Assistant): Graduate or post-graduate in basic sciences or technical courses with minimum 55% marks

8. Desirable Experiences for JRF: Minimum Two years of Research Experience in the field of microbial and immunological techniques
