Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Registrar
- Essential: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent; at least 15 years of teaching or administrative experience in specified cadres, or 15 years of administrative experience with eight years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.
- Age Limit: Preferably below 57 years as on the last date of advertisement.
Eligibility for Dean, College of Veterinary & Animal Science
- Essential: Recognized veterinary qualification under Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984; B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks; Master’s and Doctorate degrees in relevant Veterinary disciplines; minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience with at least 5 years as Professor or equivalent; outstanding research contributions.
- Age Limit: Preferably below 57 years as on the last date of advertisement.
Eligibility for Assistant Registrar
- Essential: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade and good academic record.
- Desirable: Experience in administration/establishment in specified grades.
- Age Limit: Preferably below 40 years as on the last date of advertisement.
Eligibility for Associate Professor
- Essential (Non-Veterinary): Doctoral degree in relevant subject; eight years of experience in the relevant subject; contributions to research/teaching/extension evidenced by publications and innovations.
- Essential (Veterinary): Recognized veterinary qualification; B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks; Master’s in relevant Veterinary discipline with at least 55% marks; Doctorate degree with required experience and publications.
- Age Limit: Preferably below 47 years as on the last date of advertisement.
Eligibility for Assistant Professor
- Essential (Non-Veterinary): Master’s degree in relevant discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent, with evidence of NET (ICAR-ASRB/UGC-CSIR), or Doctorate degree in relevant subject with two published research papers (NAAS rating above 4.0).
- Essential (Veterinary): Recognized veterinary qualification under Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984; B.V.Sc. & A.H. with at least 55% marks; Master’s degree in relevant Veterinary discipline with at least 60% marks and NET, or Doctorate degree with two NAAS-rated research papers.
- Age Limit: Preferably below 40 years as on the last date of advertisement (relaxation as per Section 10 of Recruitment Rules).
