About SAARC Documentatin Centre

SAARC Documentation Centre (SDC) is a regional centre of SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation). SDC is located in New Delhi. Presently it is housed on the campus of NISCAIR.
Realizing that a basic requirement for the regional
cooperation is an effective information system for the
member states that enables exchange of information in
the field of science, technology, industry, trade, commerce
and development matters, SAARC Documentation Centre
(SDC) was set up in 1994 at NISCAIR as a regional
institution of SAARC to bridge the information gap
among the member countries of the South Asian Region
