SAMEER is looking for suitable persons at SAMEER Centre for High Power Microwave Tube and Component Technology, IIT Guwahati Campus for sponsored project on consolidated pay.These are contractual appointments and shall not confer any right for regularization / absorption or continuation of service in SAMEER

1. Post: Principal Research Scientists

2. Essential Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech., M.Sc./ ME/M.Tech in Electronics / Electronics & Tele- Communication with Minimum 55% Marks

3. Experience: 

a) Principal Research Scientists: 10 years experience in the area of Electronics Design,

b) Desirable: Experience in Electronics system design, Knowledge of numerical techniques like CST/ANSYS/MAGIC for design of microwave passive and active devices, knowledge of brazing, microwave measurements/chemical cleaning/furnace operation/ high power testing etc. is required for high power microwave passive and active devices development

4. Remuneration: Principal Research Scientists: Rs 49,700/-

5. Duration: 2-Years or the duration of the project whichever is less

Pay Scale: INR 49700(Per Month)

Age Limit: 45 years

Selection Procedure

1. Candidates, who fulfil the prescribed qualifications and experience, will be asked to appear for an online test.

2. The candidates who have qualified in the written test will be asked to appear for an online interview.

3. Final selection will be based on performance in the interview/written test.

4. The date, time slot and web link for both the online test and interview will be communicated through the email id of the respective candidate.

5. It is in the interest of the candidate to furnish correct email id and mobile numbers for communication purpose.
