Shiv Nadar University Invites Application for Research Fellow Recruitment 2022

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a Naval Research Board (NRB) sponsored project titled "The Development, Testing and Performance Analysis of Batoid-inspired Autonomous Underwater Vehicle" under the supervision of Dr. Santanu Mitra, Associate Professor and former department head in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Shiv Nadar University. The position is time-bound and available immediately for the timely execution of the project. The candidates with relevant experience only are encouraged to apply, and the successful candidate may be allowed to register for Ph.D. in the University.

6. Essential qualifications and experience: Master's degree in Mechanical/Mechanical Design/Mechatronics Engineering or relevant branch with minimum 65% marks from a recognized University OR Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics or relevant branch with excellent academic record and potential of carrying out strategic research in robotics and control. Candidates with relevant research experience and publications will only be considered for the position.

7. Fellowship: ₹ 31,000 (consolidated); (Initial Appointment will be for one year and the possibility of getting an extension further based on performance). Fellowship may get enhanced if the candidate registers for the Ph.D. program.

8. Duration of Project: 3 Years

Selection Procedure

Only short-listed candidates will be intimated and called for an interview at the Shiv Nadar University campus. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in this interview.
