Eligibility for Group C (Level 4/5)

• Essential Qualification: A University Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
• Sports Norms:
  • Represented the country in Olympic Games (Senior Category) OR
  • At least 3rd Position in World Cup (Junior/Youth/Senior), World Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympics, Davis Cup, Champions Trophy, Thomas/Uber Cup.
  • Specific Sports Rules:
    Badminton (Men): Up to 8th position in Annual All India Ranking (Seniors) or Up to 50th World Ranking (Seniors) / Up to 30th World Ranking (Juniors).
    Athletics (Men): Gold Medal in Open National Championship (Senior) or Inter State Athletics Championships (Senior) and Asian Championships (Senior).
• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01.01.2026.

Eligibility for Group C (Level 2/3)

• Essential Qualification: Passed 12th (Plus-II stage) or its equivalent examination from a Govt. recognized Board/Council.
• Sports Norms:
  • Represented the Country in World Cup, World Championships, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games OR
  • At least 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships, Asian Championships/Asia Cup, SAF Games, USIC (World Railways) Championships OR
  • At least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships OR
  • At least 3rd position in National Games (IOA) OR
  • At least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship OR
  • 1st Position in Federation Cup (Senior).
  • Specific Sports Rules:
    Athletics (Men): Medal winning performance in National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship.
    Hockey (Men/Women): Participation in International Tournament (4+ nations) or Semifinalist in Senior National Championships.
    Chess (Men): International Master title OR 2350+ FIDE Rating points.
• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01.01.2026.

Eligibility for Group D (Level 1)

• Essential Qualification: 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
• Sports Norms:
  • Represented the Country in Commonwealth Championship, Asian Championship/Asia Cup, SAF Games, USIC Championship, World University Games OR
  • At least 3rd position in Federation Cup (Senior) OR
  • Represented a State equivalent Unit (excluding Marathon/Cross Country) with at least 8th position in Senior National Championship.
  • Specific Sports Rules:
    Cricket (Men): Representation in India Senior Team/India-A/U-19 (specific matches) OR Quarter finalist in All India Inter State Group Championships.
    Tennis (Men): Up to 30th position in Annual All India Ranking (Seniors).
    Golf (Men): I.G.U. ranking up to 100 (handicap less than 10).
