Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. The age limit is strictly 18 to 25 years as on 01/01/2027, with no age relaxation allowed.
- Group 'C' Level-4/Level-5:
- A University Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
- Group 'C' Level-2/Level-3:
- Passed Class 12th (10+2) or equivalent, OR
- Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship, OR
- Passed Class 10th plus ITI/NAC (granted by NCVT).
- Group 'D' Level-1:
- 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Minimum Sports Norms: Candidates must possess sports achievements earned on or after 01/04/2024 as per the discipline-wise norms mentioned in the official notification (e.g., represented the country in Olympic Games for Level-4/5; represented the country or won 3rd position in Asian/Commonwealth Championships for Level-2/3).
Selection Process & Screening Clause
The selection of candidates will be based on the following stages:
- Sports Trials: Where performance is assessed by the Trial Committee. (Minimum 25 marks required out of 40).
- Certificate Verification: Verification of Sports & Educational certificates by the Recruitment Committee.
Distribution of Marks: Sports Achievement (50 Marks) + Trial Performance (40 Marks) + Educational Qualification (10 Marks) = 100 Marks.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: 70 (Level-4/5), 65 (Level-2/3), 60 (Level-1).
Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the sports trials, except for free second-class rail travel for SC/ST candidates.
