Recruitment Of Officers In It Operations

The South Indian Bank Ltd., a Premier Scheduled Commercial Bank in India, invites applications from Indian Nationals for various roles in IT Operations Department

6. Educational Qualification: 60% in B.Tech/B.E./MCA/ M.Sc (IT/CS) from a recognised university

7. Job Description & Core Competencies:

i. Experience with Private / hybrid cloud solutions either commercial tools (VMware, BMC, HP, Cisco, Microsoft) or OpenSource (Openstack, Cloudforms, etc.). Experience with automation and Orchestration of infrastructure operational processes (Ansible, BMC, VMware etc) Knowledge of main hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V) and network virtualization (NSX, etc.)

ii. Network & Security Architect will be responsible for the complete network & security architecture of the bank. Also will be the SPOC for all the network & security incidents. Review Network Security Architecture

iii. Act as Configuration Controller and responsible for establishment of baselines and upkeep of configuration documents in line with the changes/versions. Ownership of issues reported in the interface module and liaison with software vendor for timely closure.

iv. Relevant experience in Global Cloud providers Good knowledge in various public cloud platforms and Strong understanding of cloud native concepts Professional level certification in Cloud Computing

Selection Procedure

1. Initial Shortlisting, Technical Interview and Final Interview

2. A committee formulated by the Bank will conduct the initial shortlisting of the applications based on the suitability for the roles.

3. Adequate number of shortlisted applicants will be called for the Technical Interview and Final Interview

4. Mere eligibility will not vest any right on the applicant for being called for the Interview

5. The Bank reserves the right to make required modifications in the selection process considering the number of applications for the post and also decide the number of applicants to be called for the Interview

6. In matters regarding eligibility and selection, Bank’s decision will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained.

Important Instructions:
