Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Senior Lead (Sports Science)

  • Essential Qualification: Master's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized university. Equivalent degrees include Exercise Science, Human/Medical/Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy/Sports Physiotherapy, Food/Clinical/Sports Nutrition, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Strength and Conditioning, High Performance Sports, or MBBS/PG Diploma in Sports Medicine.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant fields mentioned above. Experience is only counted if acquired after completing the essential qualification. Ph.D. research or fellowships do not count as experience.
  • Desirable: Post-Graduate Diploma (1 year) in Sports Management, Sports Science, Performance Analysis, or Statistics. Elite level experience working with Olympic sports. Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and research tools. Preference given to candidates who have participated in national or international levels in Olympic sports disciplines.

Salary / Stipend

Consolidated salary ranging from Rs. 80,000/- to Rs. 1,45,000/- per month. Initial remuneration is fixed at Rs. 80,000/- with annual increments up to 7% based on performance. Leave is 2.5 days per completed month (30 days per year). Travel allowances include economy class air travel or AC Two Tier rail for domestic tours, with hotel reimbursement up to Rs. 2,813/- per day plus food/taxi allowances. No HRA, DA, medical reimbursement, or residential phone/personal staff facilities are provided.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on scrutiny of applications followed by an interview. The final merit list is based solely on interview scores.
