Constable

Number of Vacancy: 7565 Posts (UR-3174, EWS-756, OBC-1608, SC-1386, ST-641)

Educational Qualification:
10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized Board. Educational qualification is relaxable up to 11th passed for the:

Sons/ daughters of serving, retired or deceased Delhi Police Personnel/ Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police, and

Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc. of Delhi Police only.

Male candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motorcycle or Car) as on the date of the PE&MT. Learner License is not acceptable.

Delhi Police Constable Physical Standards:
Height & Chest (for Male Candidates)

Height: Minimum 170 cm (Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules)
Chest: 81 cm (Unexpanded) & 85 cm (Expanded)

Height (for Female Candidates)
Height: Minimum 157 cm (Relaxation for reserved categories as per rules)

Physical Endurance Test (PET)

For Male Candidates
1600 meters race in 6 minutes
Long Jump: 14 feet (3 chances)
High Jump: 3’9’’ feet (3 chances)

For Female Candidates
1600 meters race in 8 minutes
Long Jump: 10 feet (3 chances)
High Jump: 3 feet (3 chances).

Pay Scale:
INR
21700-69100/- Per Month

Age Limit: 18-25 years as on 01-07-2025. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-07-2000 and later than 01-07-2007.

Selection Procedure: The recruitment process will consist of Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT)/Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.

Application Fee:
Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.
