Research Assistant, Manager

Job Location: VOC Nagar, Chennai, 600003 Tamil Nadu

Number of Vacancy: 37 Posts

Educational Qualification: Research Assistant: 1. M.V.Sc., (Micro-biology/ Pathology/ Parasitology / Dairy Micro-biology / Animal Biotechnology); and 2. Must have passed SSLC Examination or its equivalent examination with Tamil as one of the languages and 3. Registered as Veterinary Practitioner with the Tamil Nadu State Veterinary Council constituted under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Central Act 52 of 1984). Manager: 1) Must possess a Degree in veterinary Science from recognized University. (now known as B.V.Sc & A.H) and 2) Must have registered with Veterinary Council.

Pay Scale: INR 55,500-2,05,700/- Per Month

Age Limit: Minimum 32 Years. No Maximum Age limit.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., (i) Examination (Computer Based Test Method) and (ii) Oral Test in the shape of an interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the applicants at the CBT examination and oral test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Applicants’ appearance in the CBT examination and oral test is compulsory. The applicant who has not appeared for any of the subjects in the CBT examination or Oral Test will not be considered for selection, even if he/she secures the minimum qualifying marks for selection. (For further details refer to para 18(B) of the ‘Instructions to Applicants’).
