Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, MBA/PGDM, MCA

a) Name of the Post: Business Analyst – TRAI – Delhi

b) Roles and Responsibilities: 

1. Handling various activities of the project like information gathering, analyzing the information gathered, documenting the functional or business requirements as per standards of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

2. Managing multiple projects with effective planning/organizing ability and good analytical skills.

3. Preparation of Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) document for Development Team.

4. Preparation of Project Proposals including Cost-estimation & User manual.

5. Preparation Gap Analysis Document (GAD).

6. Preparation of RFP documents, Agreements, Presentations (Technical/Functional).

7. Analyze the requirement and prepare Business Requirement document (BRD) and SRS in discussion with Solution Analyst.

8. Participate in meetings with the stakeholders to capture requirements.

9. Perform liaison between stakeholders, development and configuration teams to study the implementation feasibility of the requirements.

10. Responsible for Change Control to manage the changes to the requirements in co-ordination with the development team and business stakeholders and Document management.

11. Review of functional test cases and driving stakeholders for UAT and organizing meetings/demos.

12. Creation of Wireframes and Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Flow Charts, process flow diagrams.

13. Supports all aspects of the Mobile Applications projects from start to finish with a particular emphasis on Requirements Development and participation project quality activities.

14. Ready to learn & explore new technologies/methods/processes/standards etc.

15. Responsible for team building, on aspects of business report preparation, conduction of secondary research, data mining, developing models for base & market estimates & forecasts.

16. Understanding of Databases: My SQL/ MS Access/ MS SQL server/ Postgres, Microsoft Visio/ Microsoft Project, Jira, MS Management Studio

17. Understanding of APIs & Business Analytics

18. 5+ years of experience

19. B.Tech/ M.Tech (Compr Sc/ IT/ Software) / MBA (IT)/ MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Sc.)
