Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D
Tezpur University is looking for Guest Faculty for the Department of Mass Communication & Journalism as given in detailed advertisement. Interested candidates with bio-data and testimonials may register and appear before the Selection Committee as per the detailed advertisement which is available in the website www.tezu.emet.in.

5. Eligibility (A or B): i) A Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point- scale wherever the grading system is followed) a n concerned/relevant/allied subject (as given in the previous column) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/ SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time. as the case may. are exempted from NET/SET/SLET.
iii) B. university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i)| Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or Cii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai). The Ph.D degree has been obtained from a foreign
6. Emoluments: Appointed Guest Faculties will be paid Rs.1,500/- per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs.50,000/- per month. No other allowances will be admissible.

Selection Procedure
1. Eligible candidates so registered shall appear before the concerned Selection Committee through GOOGLE MEET as per the above schedule. The link for the GOOGLE MEET shall be forwarded to the short-listed candidates before the interview.
2. If a large number of candidates register for the interview by the last date as stated above, then candidates short-listed on the basis of academic qualifications and experience may be called for the interview through e-mail anda notice for such applicants may also be uploaded in the University website before the scheduled date of interview. In absence of such e-mail/notice, all candidates who register their names as stated above may appear for the interview on the scheduled date and time
How to Apply:
1. Last date of registration/ submission of application through e-mail 17.12.2021 (05.00 PM)
2. Date/Day of Interview Time (10.30 AM onwards) 22.12.2021 (Wednesday)
3. Interested candidates are to register their names along with detailed biodata/CV as given in along with the filled-in (attached herewith) by e-mail to the Head of the concerned Department as stated above with the subject line "Application For Guest Faculty against Advt. No. 02/2021".
4. Candidates who do not register his/ her name by the aforesaid time & date shall not be interviewed.
5.
