Educational Qualification: Any Graduate
THDCIL is looking to engage suitable and interested candidates as Associates (E4/E5) for a period of 1 year. 1. Position: Associates 2. Qualification: Graduation in any discipline. Ability of writing Shorthand and Typewriting in English at the speed of 80 wpm and 40 wpm respectively. Should have Diploma in Computer Application. 3. Job Profiles: Should be capable of taking dictations and typing it accurately, maintaining confidential files, attending to phone calls, a assisting to Sr. Officials in his day to day functions etc 4. Experience: Having more than 25 years of experience of working as Executive Secretary to Sr. Official in any Govt. Deptt. /PSU. 5. THDC India Limited (THDCIL) is a premier power sector Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) and a consistently profit-making company. It was incorporated as a Public Limited Company in July 1988 under the Companies Act, 1956, with the primary mandate of developing, operating, and maintaining the 2400 MW Tehri Hydro Power Complex. Recognizing its operational excellence and strategic importance, the Government of India conferred "Mini Ratna - Category I" status on THDCIL in October 2009, followed by an upgrade to a Schedule 'A' PSU in July 2010.
Originally, the equity of the Company was held in the ratio of 75:25 between the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP). Pursuant to a strategic disinvestment, a Share Purchase Agreement was signed on 25th March 2020 between NTPC Limited and the President of India for the acquisition of the Government of India's stake. As a result, THDCIL became a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, with the equity now held by NTPC Limited and GoUP in the ratio of 74.496% and 25.504%, respectively.
