Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • For NCC Candidates: Graduation Degree from a recognized University with a minimum of B Grade in NCC 'C' Certificate Exam.
  • Final Year Students: Candidates studying in the final year are eligible to apply. They must complete their graduation by 01 October 2026.
  • For Wards of Battle Casualties: Graduation Degree is required. NCC 'C' Certificate is NOT required for this category.

2. Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)

  • Age Limit: 19 to 25 years.
  • Date of Birth Range: Born not earlier than 02 July 2001 and not later than 01 July 2007.
  • Age Relaxation: As per Government norms.

3. Mandatory Requirements & Documents

  • Nationality: Citizen of India, Subject of Nepal, or Person of Indian Origin.
  • Documents for Wards of Battle Casualties: Must possess Battle Casualty certificate, Part II Order, and Relationship Certificate.
  • Physical Standards: Candidates must meet specific physical fitness standards before joining the Academy (See section below).

Selection Process & Physical Standards

Since this is Direct Recruitment, there is no written exam. The selection stages are:

  1. Shortlisting: Based on Graduation percentage and NCC Grade (Bonus Marks system).
  2. SSB Interview: 5-day assessment at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
  3. Medical Examination.
