Educational Qualification: Technical Officer : (i) Officers from the Central Government holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; OR With three years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 7, OR With five years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 6. OR Officers from State/UT Government/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Organization holding regular post in corresponding grades with requisite experience.

(ii) Possessing Four year degree in engineering or Masters degree in computer applications from an institution recognized by Government agencies.

Experience of work in ICT projects/ e-Governance/ networking/ Telecom/ Data Centre Operations and infra Management/ IT| procurement and inventory management/ Software development/ Database administration/ Information Security.

Deputy Director(Technology) : i. Officers from the Central Government holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR With three years of regular service in the Pay Matrix level 10 OR With five years of regular service in the Pay Matrix level 9 OR With six years of regular service in the Pay Matrix level 8

ii. OR Officers from State/UT Government/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Organization holding regular post in corresponding grades with requisite experience. Four year degree in Engineering or Technology or Master's Degree in Computer Applications from an Institute recognized by Govt. agencies.

Assistant Director(Technology) : a. Officers from the Central Government holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; OR With three years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 9; OR With four years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 8;

b. OR With six years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 7; OR Officers from State/UT Government/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Organization holding regular post in corresponding grades with requisite experience.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected based on written test/personal interview/medical test/ walkin interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the given criteria.

The applications in the prescribed format (Annexure-l) should reach to the Director (HR), Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDA), Data Centre, Technology Centre-Office Complex Plot No. 1, Sector-M2, IMT Manesar, (Gurugram) - 122050 on or before the last date of receipt of the application. The last date for receipt of applications is 18 July 2022.

2. Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained. Candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.

3. UIDAI may, in exceptional circumstances, convene the meeting of the Selection Committee and/ or consider a candidate without waiting for his/ her cadre clearance certificate and other documents listed

4. However, the offer for appointment to such candidate, in case of selection, shall be issued only on receipt of requisite documents from the cadre, duly attested and complete in all respects.

About Unique Identification Authority of India

Unique Identification Authority of India Logo

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is a statutory authority established under the provisions of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (“Aadhaar Act 2016”) on 12 July 2016 by the Government of India, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The Aadhaar Act 2016 has been amended by the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Act, 2019 (14 of 2019) w.e.f. 25.07.2019.

UIDAI was created to issue Unique Identification numbers (UID), named as "Aadhaar", to all residents of India. The UID had to be (a) robust enough to eliminate duplicate and fake identities, and (b) verifiable and authenticable in an easy, cost-effective way. As on 31 March 21, the Authority has issued 128.99 crore Aadhaar numbers to the residents of India.

Under the Aadhaar Act 2016, UIDAI is responsible for Aadhaar enrolment and authentication, including operation and management of all stages of Aadhaar life cycle, developing the policy, procedure, and system for issuing Aadhaar numbers to individuals and perform authentication and the security of identity information and authentication records of individuals.
