The Directorate of Education, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of TGTs and PGTs as Guest Faculty (Gujarati, English, Hindi and Marathi Medium) for Govt. High/ Higher secondary schools in Dadra and Nagar Haveli District.
1. Name of the Post: Post Graduate Teacher
2. No of Post: 23
3. Qualification: Post Graduate with 50% marks in their respective subject and medium with B.Ed degree recognized by NCTE. The medium of study in SSC should be same as the medium in which they are applying
4. Honorarium: Rs. 250 per period limited to maximum 05 (Five) periods per day and with a maximum consolidated Honorarium of Rs.25,000/- per month.

The willing and eligible candidates may submit the duly filled in Application Form along with recent passport size photographs and self attested copies of all certificates including experience certificate relevant fcr the post applied to the Office of the District Education Officer, Room No. 13, 2nd Floor, Secretariat, Amli, Silvassa - 396230 by Registered Post/Speed Post or by hand between 10:00am to 5:00pm on all working days on or before 14/12/2021. The sealed envelope should be duly superscribed. The application received after the due date shall not be accepted.

U.T. of Daman and Diu comprises two districts namely Daman and Diu. Both Districts are situated on western coast of India at a distance of about 700 kms. Daman is the head Quarter of this U.T.
Daman is on main land near southern portion of Gujarat State. Vapi is the nearest Railway Station (13 kms) which is on Western Railway between Mumbai and Surat. Vapi is 167 kms from Mumbai Central and 95 kms from Surat.
Diu is an island near Una of Junagarh District in Gujarat State. Nearest Railway Station is Delwada at the distance of 9 kms from Diu. But important trains are linked with Veraval which is 90 kms from Diu. A portion of Diu District is on main land which is named as Ghoghla. A small part of Diu known as Simbor is situated in Gujarat at a distance of 25 kms from Diu.
