Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, MCA, MS

Applications are invited on the prescribed Application Form for the temporary positions of Young Professionals (YPs) to be engaged on contract basis in the Centre for IT Enabled Services and Management, for a period of 1 year. The Young Professionals (YPs) are required in the following areas:

3. Essential Qualification: MTech/ME/MS in Computer Science and Engineering/Information technology/ECE or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience OR B.Tech./ B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology/ECE or equivalent with Five years of relevant experience. OR M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with five years of relevant e xperience. OR M.C.A. from a recognized University or statutory body with five years of relevant experience.

4. Desirable Qualification: Server managements and administrations such as Apache, Name server, LDAP, Radius, Proxy and SMTP. Knowledge of Virtualization (VMware Exsi and Xen). Firewall Policy Managements and ACLS) Networks and Security Tools Hands on experience in managing networking, routing and switching Knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server and network infrastructure Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired Ability to set up and configure servers and private cloud. Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies

5. Duties And Responsibilities: Assist in network design and implementation. Provide network support with a variety of operating systems. Install and configure computer network equipment. Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations. Provide network support to users. Maintain servers, private cloud and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings.

a. Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources. Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up. Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades. Monitor network to ensure optimal performance. Create and maintain network users/permissions. Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility. Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.
